I had sent you on a mission to change the fate of the Headless Horseman.  I knew this would be a challenge since only a few of you answered to the call.  I was worried that none of my Guardians would return.  But alas Sir Derick showed up to give his report on the battle.  I was relieved to see the elder again and hearing of your safe return put a smile on my face.  Learning that not only you engaged in battle with such few of you, and you were fearless.  You over came and defeated the Headless Horseman giving him the final rest he deserved.  Your act of bravery will not go unnoticed.  Cause on that day of battle all learned from you actions who the Guardians of Fate are.  --The Sphinx bows to each of you--.

I like that the sphinx posted after the battle but he seams uncertain. Not a beacon of strength like a mountain, but more a sea. Riddle me this, can our leader faulter under question? Can he doubt his actions? No next time you post for the sphinx make him sound strong, make him KNOW the out come and WILL it, try to refrain from making him seam human, for he can't be. Or death will befall our units story just as a mortal falls to the plague.

The Sphinx was truly worried for when the Guardians were called to duty.  Only a few answered, fate had presented a new problem that the Sphinx himself did not see.  He was strong and sent us out anyways knowing we would be victorious but he was not sure at what price.  For you see even fate can be a bitch to the all and powerful Sphinx.
